Welcome to Beijing, China’s (XXL) capital city and the seat of power of the Communist Party.

The city was host to the 2008 Summer Olympic Games in which the architecture of its twin stadiums alone (the Bird’s nest and the Water Cube) have made a tremendous impact onto the world’s consciousness of China.

It is also the site of several of the country’s dynastic architectural wonders such as the Great Wall, The Forbidden City and the Temple of Heaven, each of which served their own importance in the history of China.
